Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Club - Refund Policy

 

 REFUND POLICY

 As a volunteer sports organization, MICRC strives to provide the best possible programs at the lowest feasible cost.  We understand that occasionally a participant may be required to withdraw from a program.  When this happens parents may expect at least a partial refund depending how much of the program remains. MICRC strives to meet expectations within the limitations imposed on the club.

When MICRC registers a player with the Ontario Rugby Union / Rugby Canada, we are required to pay registration and insurance fees at the time of registration.  These fees are generally non-refundable and are deducted from the fees paid to MICRC. This is by far our largest cost and severely reduces our ability to issue refunds.  With this in mind, the following are our guidelines for issueing refunds as well as a calculation showing the refund amounts.

 Refund Guidelines
  1. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the registrar.
  2. All refunds are subject to a $25.00 non-refundable administration fee.
  3. A non refundable $30 kit may apply
  4. Rugby Canada and Rugby Ontario fees are not refundable if a player has participated in any game or two training sessions.
  5. No refunds will be issued after July 31st
.
NOTE: All players must be registered with Rugby Canada before participating in any game or training session.
