2018 JUNIOR REGISTRATION - Now Open
On-Line registration is now in place. All members including coaches, referees, trainers and board members are required to complete the on-line registration. Registration fees are listed below. Coaches, trainers and referees should contact the registrar before registering.
Note: The total fee is made up of 3 components plus processing fees. See below for the total cost. Each component Rugby Canada, Rugby Ontario and the club fee have to be agreed to seperately during the registration process.
ALL MEMBERS MUST REGISTER USING THE ON-LINE SYSTEM. Rugby Canada has selected Sports NGIN as the provider for on-line registration. As a result of the change, all members will need to create an account if they don't already have one. Your email must be verified before you are able to proceed with the registration process.
General Registration Information
Please follow the instructions below and apply to become a member of the Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Football Club. Though early registration is preferred, new players are welcome to join us at any point during the season.
All members, new and old, are required to use the On-line registration system. See above.
Dues must be paid in full and the registration completed before members are permitted to train or play.
NOTE: Coaches, referees and therapists please see the registrar. Members need to complete the membership registration process in order for the club records to be updated accurately and for RO/RC legal and insurance privileges to apply.
PLEASE NOTE: Markham Rugby has adopted a no pay, no play policy. Registration with Rugby Ontario & Rugby Canada will not take place until player dues have been paid in full. The RO and RC fees cover registration fees, insurance, and rugby programs across Ontario and Canada. The club fee covers: equipment costs, clubhouse costs, Fletcher's Fields dues, referee fees, physio fees, game jerseys, team registration fees and coaching expenses. Juniors also receive club socks and a T-shirt.
Practice, & Game Days
Outdoor sessions begin early to mid May (when the town allows us on the fields)
Sr. Men and Sr.Women train on Tuesday & Thursday nights games are on Saturdays.
U17 and U19 girls train on Tuesday nights with games on Wednesday nights
U19 boys train on Monday and Tuesday nights with games on Wednesday nights.
U13, U11, U9, & U7 train on Monday and Thursday nights, games on Saturday mornings.
U15 boys train on Monday and Thursday nights with games on Saturdays.
U17 boys train on Monday & Wednesday nights with games on Saturdays.
