Our mission is to promote the sport of rugby football by administering programs and providing equipment, facilities and opportunities for the development and training of athletes, coaches and administrators involved in the sport.

Our Goals
Our History
Our club originates from the Irish Canadian Rugby Club and The Markham Rugby Football Club which merged in 2010. The combined clubs have a rich history of success at both senior and junior levels having won multiple Ontario Cups and League Championships. The Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Club strives to provide positive rugby experiences for all age groups from Under 8 to Senior Men and Women. The club operates out of Markham Ontario and draws members from the surrounding municipalities.

Engaging everyone in this sport can bring a community together. We pride ourselves on not just connecting our senior teams with our junior and mini's but also in engaging the community and helping out around Markham in various ways.

Enjoying the sport alongside friends and family can have a lasting impact. Our biggest success comes from the enjoyment that our members have being a part of this club. Ultimately, the joy of playing and interacting with teammates is the real winner!
The Facility
The Markham Irish Clubhouse and Field are a great place to be on any given Saturday during the summer.
We are located at 150 Austin Dr. Unionville, Ontario. Our clubhouse is in the middle of Markham, right next to Markville Mall.

Our clubhouse has changing rooms with showers, and a projector with a pull-down screen for viewings of televised rugby games. Located in the middle of Austin drive, this facility is the heart of the Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Club. We also have a bar fully stocked with snacks and beverages for pre and post game refreshments. We often host our club socials and events here.
Field
Our field is our true home. The pitch is full sized with classic uprights and bleachers for audience viewing. We have our own parking lot in front of the field, as well as a playground located on the right side.

Markham Land Acknowledgement
