Overview

Senior rugby in Ontario is open to players 19+, played under full-contact World Rugby Laws, and welcomes athletes of all experience levels. Markham Irish competes in the Marshall League at the Championship level, running two strong competitive sides,1XV and 2XV, with additional opportunities for more social play when numbers allow. Safety, skill development, and team rugby are at the heart of our program, with success often following as a result. With 16 provincial championships, the Senior Men’s program has a proud tradition and an exciting season ahead.

Schedule

The outdoor season runs May through September, often with a fall sevens program and indoor winter training January through April.

Practices

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30–8:00pm at the clubhouse, 150 Austin Drive.

Games

Saturdays, 2XV at 2:00pm | 1XV at 3:30pm, excluding long weekends.

Offseason

Indoor training during select Saturday mornings January through April.
