Minis Year-End Banquet
Updated: Aug 27
Last night, our U6–U10 athletes came together for a wonderful evening of food, fun and celebration at our Minis End-of-Season Banquet.
Once again, our potluck-style banquet highlighted what makes the Markham Irish community so special. It wasn’t just about the fantastic food. It was about families coming together, contributing, sharing a meal and celebrating our young athletes as one big rugby family. That sense of community is something truly special.
A huge thank-you goes to all of the parents and coaches who jumped in throughout the evening to serve food, direct traffic, help organize and stay behind to clean up. Your willingness to pitch in made a tremendous difference and was a perfect reminder that it takes a village.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive and generous group of families behind our athletes. The time, energy and commitment you give to the club play a huge role in making the Markham Irish about so much more than rugby.
Most importantly, the evening was a chance to celebrate our Minis and the season they’ve shared together. We hope it was a memorable night for our players and their families, and one that reflects the community they are helping build. Please join us in congratulating our 2026 award winners:
